Computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics
This course provides specialist expertise in core neuroinformatics (such as computing and biology) focusing on the development of research skills. It equips you with the skills to contribute to biologically realistic simulations of neural activity and developments. These are rapidly becoming the key focus of neuroinformatics research.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a science discipline, or an MBBS degree with high grades; practical laboratory work experience is desirable, although not essential; applicants whose 1st language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in all sub-sections) or equivalent; international applicants require an ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) clearance certificate prior to obtaining their visa and to study on this programme.
