The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers postgraduate research degrees at PhD level in all of its major research areas. These research groups cover 4 areas of expertise: nanomaterials and electronics; microelectronic system design; power electronics, drives and machines.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or equivalent, in: electrical or electronic engineering; computer engineering; a related subject such as mechanical engineering or physics. Applicants whose 1st language is not English need an overall IELTS score of 6.0.
