Subsea Engineering and Management

The course is designed for experienced or recently graduated engineers who want to develop your subsea knowledge. Teaching modules operate in short 'intensive schools' with time after the module to complete the assignments, where applicable. They include: input from industry; experts; site visits; industry-based projects; teaching from other disciplines. Students also undertake a research project leading to a dissertation.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in the following engineering disciplines: mechanical, chemical, civil, metallurgical or materials, offshore, naval, electrical or marine. Applicants with a degree in a related subject not listed above or a lower or non-standard qualification will be considered. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. International applicants require an ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) clearance certificate prior to obtaining their visa and to study on this programme.
