Supervision is normally available in the fields of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. For example: functional analysis, and geometric algebra; operator theory; function theory; Banach algebras; cohomology; modules; fluid mechanics; astrophysics; cosmology.
A 2.1 Honours degree in computing science, mathematics, physics, statistics or another strongly quantitative discipline, or an international equivalent. International students: applicants whose 1st language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. International applicants may require an ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) clearance certificate prior to obtaining their visa and to study on this programme, you will be informed of this in your offer letter.
