This course equips students with the skills to enter employment as a professional engineer and progress to Chartered Engineer or equivalent status. Widening their knowledge, understanding and skills, graduates will be able to contribute effectively in a wide range of mechanical engineering environments.

Entry requirements

A 2:2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in mechanical or mechanical related engineering (eg automotive, aeronautical or design), maths, physics or a related discipline. Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. International applicants may require an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) clearance certificate prior to obtaining their visa. You will be informed of this in your offer letter.
