The psychology and counselling area at Newman has developed a focus on research related to counselling and related areas i.e. counselling psychology and psychotherapy, with related interests in the field of general health and well being, and more diverse interests within the general area of psychology, including measurement, eyewitness testimony, and children's understanding; the subject area is also able to supervise in assessment and rehabilitation of brain damaged patients, in particular those with frontal lobe injuries.
