The programme examines the role of the public manager in the 21st century in relation to the rapidly changing public service environment and the challenges posed for the effective management of policy and service delivery.

Entry requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants with other qualifications or other relevant professional experience are also encouraged to apply. English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based) or equivalent.

Course modules

Managing strategically in the public services; shaping public policy: regimes, institutions and powers; comparative public management and governance; social science postgraduate dissertation; organisational management in cultural and non commercial organisations.
