Design Management

The course is for designers and design graduates who want to develop their career by taking on a more strategic, managerial role. It also appeals to graduates or managers from other sectors, who want to advance their careers by developing a greater understanding of the value of design and innovation and how to harness its power within a corporate context.

Entry requirements

Applicants will normally be expected to have a good Honours degree; mature applicants with a lower qualification and at least 3 years appropriate professional experience may be accepted; applicants with substantial relevant experience alone will be considered on their individual merit; where English is not the 1st language of instruction: IELTS 6.5; or TOEFL 575 paper-based, 90 internet-based.

Modules include: design thinking; design process; design management 1; design management 2; design project by learning contract.
