Cultural Heritage Management

The programme sets out to equip students with a combination of essential cultural management competencies, awareness of heritage sector specific issues, and an understanding of the historical dimension of the seemingly intangible attributes of culture and society and their relationship to the physical artefact; making extensive use of case study and partnership working on an international scale the programme leads students deep into the contested and challenging territory of heritage.

Entry requirements

Candidates should possess 1 of the following: a degree in an arts related area; a degree in a non-arts related area with a proven interest in an art form or aspects of cultural management and/or considerable relevant work experience.

Course modules

Writers in their place: literature and heritage; organisational management in cultural and non commercial organisations; dissertation; the cultural manager; cultural heritage management.
