The main aim of the programme is to develop research skills and prepare students for careers in education, teaching and research. Students use these research skills to apply their practice of choice. The programme also provides general research skills and transferable competencies that will be relevant in the commercial world.
A good upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a design discipline, a recognised professional qualification or substantial work experience within a design related field. Applicants not meeting these criteria will be considered on an individual basis depending on the strength of their application and experience..
