Global Financial Management

The course covers international corporate finance and money markets, risk management and the use of financial instruments and mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, management buy-outs. Students study strategic investment decisions and risk in multinationals, performance measurement and management and ethical behaviour and corporate governance. Financial management is explored within a global framework and students make use of data available through the institution's library databases and other data available on the web.

Entry requirements

2.2 Honours degree. International/English language requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based).

Course modules

Modules include: business research analysis; developing self; strategic investment decisions; investment and performance analysis; financial risk management; international corporate finance and financial markets; ethics, corporate governance and socially responsible investment; managing value strategically.
