The programme provides the managerial and leadership capabilities, to assist or direct organisation to become more effective and efficient in a rapidly changing, complex and knowledge based economy; the programme covers reflective practice and experiential learning; students engage with principles and theories of business, management and organisation, which provide frameworks for reviewing, reflecting, analysing and critiquing existing individual and organisational practices; students also develop new knowledge and skills, which enable enhanced and more appropriate practices to be encouraged; the outcome of this process are a critical appreciation, in order to build strategic capabilities and to understand contemporary management and organisational issues in a context of change.
Honours degree or a professional qualification, and at least 3 years management experience; applicants with significant work experience considered on an individual basis; for applicants without English as a 1st language IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based), or equivalent, is required.
