Business with Entrepreneurship

This programme provides the general business knowledge and understanding as well as the personal skills needed for a wide variety of roles. The programme is suitable for recent graduates in non-business disciplines and for those who are interested in a particular area of business (e.g. marketing) but still want a more general introduction to business than is available in a specialist Master's programme. Students can take a number of pathways whilst studying for this programme. The programme is designed around a set of modules that are common to all pathways. These modules cover general business functions, strategic management and organisational analysis.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree; applicants should possess a mathematics qualification equivalent to a GCSE grade B; applicants lacking the academic requirements but with substantial experience of working in a business organisation and/or possess a relevant professional qualification considered individually; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 (or above) or a TOEFL score of 575 (or above) or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: business research analysis; analysing organisations; developing self; managing for sustainable competitive advantage; dissertation; business environment and strategic management; entrepreneurship theory and practice.
