Good Honours degree in engineering discipline; good Honours degree in scientific or technological discipline plus relevant industrial experience.
Modules include: numerical stress analysis; solid modelling and prototyping; finite element analysis; surface modelling; technology review; advanced fluid dynamics; engineering data analysis; materials process modelling; advanced dynamics and vibrations; investigative project; thesis.
Assessment is varied, and is determined by individual module tutors. However it can consist of either coursework assignments and/or examinations. Assignments can take the form of individual and/or group work, research reports, oral presentations and the creation of physical products.
