Business Information Systems Management

Course covers managing and leading the development of major information systems and or e-business systems resources; the subjects studied in the programme are based on the large body of up-to-date research and practitioner knowledge and experience of the staff in the school; the curriculum includes the study of traditional and contemporary approaches to information systems and knowledge management in the business context; PRINCE2 project management; security systems management; business agility; business creativity including the management of change, e-business systems development and deployment, research methods and consultancy skills practice.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree, or above, in a subject in the general areas of computing and/or information systems, business studies with information technology (IT) or engineering with computing and/or IT content. English language requirements are IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based).

Masters dissertation; systems security management; information systems and knowledge management in the business context; PRINCE2 for practitioners; business agility and creativity; BIT consultancy project; research and project management; integrated enterprise systems with ERP.
