The programme develops research informed and critical practitioners who are prepared to meet the challenge of social work in the 21st century.

Entry requirements

At least a 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant social sciences or related subject area; GCSE mathematics and English at grade C (or equivalent). English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based) or equivalent.

Course modules

Social work services, users and carers; research informed social work practice; critical social work practice; contemporary social work: risk and intervention; research informed social work practice; critical social work practice.
