Sport and Exercise Psychology

This programme is the 1st stage of practitioner training for chartered sport and exercise psychologists. The course develops strong analytical skills, research and writing skills modules in the areas of performance, from recreational to elite levels, as well as exercise, physical activity and health, producing a diversity of career options. Entry requirements

All students should normally possess the Graduate Basis for Registration by the British Psychological Society. International/English language requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based) or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: exercise psychology; motor processes in sport; psychological skills for sport performance; qualitative and quantitative methods; professional skills; counselling and interpersonal processes in sport; thesis journal.
