Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent. Or a professional qualification linked to the nature of the award e.g. healthcare practitioner, assistant medical officer.
Modules include: research skills: approaches, designs and methods; theories and health related evidence; leadership and management for health care; health care practice and practice knowledge.
A variety of assessment approaches will be used to assess each module as well as to develop the student's ability to write academic assignments and to improve their skills in presenting information to others.
