Computer Games Systems

This course will provide students with the knowledge and experience to specialise in the design of games systems, using suitable programming languages and their development environments for the production of efficient games software solutions. Students will also learn how to create distributed and virtual-reality games systems using novel platforms, languages and environments.

Course modules

Advanced Software Engineering; 3D Games Algorithms; Computer Games Development; Mobile Interactive Systems; Applied Artificial Intelligence; Research Methods; Major Project.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include: research project; written assignments; case studies; oral presentations and coursework reports.
