Human Resources Practice

This course aims to provide skills training in many aspects of human resources practice, enabling students to enhance their contribution to their organisation and assist in their own development.

Course modules

Modules may cover: understanding organisations and the role of human resources (HR), developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner; recording, analysing and using HR information; resourcing talent; supporting good practice in managing employee relations; supporting good practice in performance and reward management.

Assessment methods

A range of assessment methods will be used, including a variety of written assignments, skills assessments (involving assessed role-play exercises) and a continuing professional development portfolio.
