Strategic Accounting and Finance
The core elements of the course enable students to understand and apply traditional and current theoretical principles, models and frameworks to strategic accounting (internal and external reporting) and strategic financial management.
An undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate Honours degree (2.2 or above) in accounting and finance or an HE level 2 understanding of accounting and finance in business.
Core modules: corporate finance and valuations; strategic management accounting; corporate accountability; contemporary issues in accounting and finance; research methods; applied/consultancy project. Elective modules: investment and portfolio management; financial statement analysis; international financial management; takeovers, restructuring and corporate governance; derivatives markets.
