Management and Entrepreneurial E-Business
The course provides future managers with a grounding in the operation of key functional areas of business and the way that these are integrated in globally orientated organisations; this route goes beyond traditional information system or e Business offerings and focuses on preparing students to be hybrid managers; at the end of the year participants are able to demonstrate their ability to apply, synthesise and critically review contemporary theories and approaches to e business development and implementation management.
An undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate Honours degree (2.2 or above).
Modules include: managing people; information and knowledge; accounting; finance and economics; strategy in the international environment; marketing and operations; research methods; applied/consultancy project. Specialist modules: global digital business contexts; creating entrepreneurial value in networked environments.
Presentations; group work; management reports; examinations.
