This course aims to provide students with an enhanced insight into the legal profession.

Entry requirements

A qualifying law degree (2.2 or above); or a graduate diploma in law or a common professional examination with an undergraduate degree (normally 2:2 or above); or the Institute of Legal Executives qualification in their personal statement. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Course modules

IT training (including use of now) and library workshop; introduction to the skills; introduction to research; foundation tax; foundation in business accounts; introduction to the additional module; pro bono and careers talks.

Assessment methods

Written examination and a dissertation.
