Fashion Knitwear Design
This course will encourage you to innovate through experimental research and practice. You will devise an individual project, which could be focused around your career aspirations, or an experimental investigation into art, science and fabrication. We will support you helping you to explore and challenge the limits of fashion knitwear design.
You will need an Honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience and examples of your work. If your 1st language is not English then you will need IELTS 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in each component.
Modules: research and context; project development; advanced art and design research; project realisation and presentation.
Assessment is 100% by coursework and involves project proposal, supporting fashion knitwear research and development work, evidence of reflective practiceexperimental designs, formal presentations of key developments resolved fashion knitwear swatches and / or garments, portfolio and CV.
