Puppetry and Digital Animation
This course has been created in response to the rise of the global animation industry. It will help you whether you are already working commercially or as an artist, progressing from undergraduate study or reassessing your career. You will develop a sophisticated academic, technical and creative understanding, and an industry-standard portfolio. At the start of the course you will devise your own project, and choose one of two outcomes; practice or a dissertation.
You will need an Honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience and examples of your work. If your 1st language is not English then you will need IELTS 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in each component.
Modules: research and exploration; experimentation and professional practice; advanced art and design research; realisation and presentation.
Assessment is by coursework and involves learning agreement, reflective journal and other written work, practical development work, presentations.
