Nottingham Trent University
English Literary Research
Students learn more about approaches to the study of literature, and will have the opportunity to study authors, literary movements, themes or critical ideas in depth. Central to the course is the dissertation; it allows students to explore, in detail, their area of literary interest. An individual supervisor supports each student throughout their dissertation; there are 1-to-1 tutorials and the supervisor offers advice on developing appropriate study methods and provide feedback on drafts of the dissertation.
