Latin American Studies
This course allows graduates to pursue research in the field of latin American studies; the degree comprises independent research and a course designed to develop knowledge of key research skills and practices; Award degrees are available in the following subject areas: cultural studies; gender studies; society and politics; protest movements; contemporary Latin American literature.
A good Honours (minimum 2.2) degree in a relevant subject; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5; prospective students are required to submit a 300 word outline of their proposed topic at the time of application and are encouraged to contact the programme leader beforehand for advice.
