This course enables students to develop research and analytical skills and upgrade their qualifications; it suits students that have the appropriate entry qualifications, a passion for history and are looking for an intellectual challenge. The course is based around the study of British and Irish local and regional history between 1750 and 1950. Using our collection of online primary source materials students will be encouraged to produce an independent research project on a topic of their choice.

Entry requirements

Honours degree, ideally in a relevant subject.
