Problem Solving and Improvement (Quality and Other Approaches) (T889)

This course provides a wide range of problem-solving approaches, methods and techniques and examines their underpinning concepts, principles and theoretical backgrounds; it allows students to investigate problems properly and generate robust, effective solutions that are sustainable; the course also explores the nature of problems and solutions, and the management of problem solving and improvement.

Entry requirements

Normally a UK Honours degree, or equivalent.

Course modules

Material is divided into 5 blocks: (block 1) introduction; (block 2) statistics; (block 3) techniques; (block 4) methods and approaches; (block 5) managing problem solving and statistics.
