Whether a project manager, an aspiring project manager or a member of a project team, this online course will support students in improving their practice and making their contribution to the project even more effective. Students gain an understanding of the essential steps in the project life cycle and reflect on the techniques available and how they can be applied. Students have the opportunity to review, in the light of their new knowledge and experience, a project on which they have already worked. The topics covered include stakeholders, finance, risk, people, project administration and quality.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for applicants if they have experience of working on projects, possibly as a team member, and students do not need to have worked on all phases of the project lifecycle; if students have not worked on projects they need to have experience of working in organisations and be able to relate their experience to projects; applicants whose 1st language is not English will require an IELTS score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each individual component.
