Difficulties in Literacy Development (E801)

Course aims to raise the standard of all students' literacy and increase awareness of the barriers to learning some students face; students explore and reflect on appropriate curriculum responses to the needs of children as well as the wider issues relevant to adults who experience difficulty in literacy development.

Entry requirements

1st degree or equivalent; OU Advanced Diploma in education (or equivalent professional qualification); OU Certificate of Continuing Professional Development; QTS with at least 3 years teaching experience; candidates must be experienced teachers or other professionals working in an educational setting.
