Leading Healthcare Improvements (K827)

Leading healthcare improvements assist students to investigate change in a local practice setting and to develop leadership skills in relation to policy, innovation and service improvement; this is achieved by studying concepts taught through the study materials (an understanding of leadership, policy and innovation), exploring local practice (to gain new insights), and discussion with a tutor and study group peers (thinking as a leader); the course represents a guided enquiry into what leadership might achieve locally and the ways in which students might develop their potential as a change agent.

Entry requirements

A registered healthcare professional who has current access to a practice environment and has successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. Students whose 1st language is not English will need to demonstrate a reasonable standard of written and spoken English.
