Molecules in Medicine (S807)

The module surveys a prominent area of contemporary medical science, the molecular understanding of disease and its use in the design of drugs to treat different disease states and conditions; students are introduced to a range of drug therapy topics, such as infectious diseases (including bacterial and viral), cancer, heart disease, inflammation and neuropharmacology.

Entry requirements

UK Honours degree in science or a science-related subject, or equivalent qualification; applicants with relevant experience or other study may also be considered. For students whose 1st language is not English then an IELTS score of 7.0.
