Project Management in the Built Environment
This course is designed to meet the growing demand for project managers in the built environment sector who can oversee the entire life cycle of any project, including unique and specialist developments. It is ideal for anyone with ambitions for project management within this sector.
Good undergraduate Honours degree (2.1 or above) in any discipline. Relevant experience and demonstrable abilities to study at Master's level. Applicants for distance-learning study should also have at least 6 months' work experience in the built environment sector and are required to be in full-time employment. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0-7.0 (normally with 6.0 in reading and writing and a minimum of 5.5 in listening and speaking) or equivalent.
Modules include: People, leadership and organisations; project planning: control and risk; construction law and procurement; managing technology for sustainable environments; applied research methods, dissertation.
Assessment is 100% coursework, which includes a great variety of types of work.
