Anthropology and Geography MPhil/PhD

Supervision is available for research in the following main areas: anthropology of art; anthropology of food; environmental archaeology; human resource ecology; primate conservation; social anthropology of South East Asia, Japan and Europe; theme parks and cultural display.

Entry requirements

MPhil or MPhil/PhD: 1st or 2nd Class UK Honours degree or equivalent; alternative qualifications considered individually; PhD: Master's degree in appropriate discipline (including research training and research project).

Sponsorship information

Students are encouraged to apply for Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funding.
