Learning for Sustainability
The course covers sustainable development and environmental education. Students have the opportunity to become sustainability literate. The course covers the knowledge and skills for careers in formal and non-formal environmental education, environmental activism, green tourism, environmental research, sustainability policy and development.
Applicants should hold a 1st or 2nd Class degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Modules include: learning, education and sustainability; sustainability skills (research and dissemination); sustainable learning communities and organisations; global education (theory and practice); plus optional modules; ecological and environmental ethics; ecological and sustainability literacy.
