Early Childhood Studies
The course enables people from a wide range of professional backgrounds to study together, to share their perspectives, cultures and practices and to challenge each other's assumptions and prejudices.
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree or its equivalent, and/or appropriate professional experience. Applicants without an undergraduate degree may be invited to undertake a single module and, if successful, move on through the programme. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Modules include: concepts of childhood; perspectives on early child development; developing leadership skills in early childhood settings; contemporary issues in the early years; independent study module.
