International Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This programme is relevant to any graduate wishing to develop an understanding of international logistics in the areas of finance; business modelling; research skills; management; organisation; and marketing; it equips students with skills to design, develop, implement and present a research project at postgraduate level; the programme focuses on the commercial aspects of international logistics and corporate decision making in supply chain management; the course encourages practical, hands-on research and application, to develop the skills required to gain employment in industry, academia or agency work.

Entry requirements

Applicants require a relevant degree with Honours or an equivalent professional qualification. Other qualifications accompanied by substantial experience in an appropriate field may also be considered. Non-standard applications will be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent. Pre-sessional English language courses are available if applicants do not meet these requirements.

Modules include: international logistics management; international supply chain systems; international trade, procurement, logistics and shipping; logistics, supply chains, systems and methods; maritime finance and business modelling; research project; research skills and economics for international supply chains.
