International Management and Leadership
This course focuses on developing contemporary, practical management and leadership skills; students face the challenge of applying what they have learned in a real world project with a community group or charity; it sees students designing, implementing and leading a community based project; it gives students the opportunity to turn new knowledge into practical action, while at the same time making a positive impact and contribution to a community.
A good UK honours degree or equivalent in any discipline; for those who do not hold a business related qualification, work experience is considered; applicants who did not study their degree in English require IELTS 6.0.
Modules include: Strategy; leadership power and policy; organisational behaviour; operations and supply chain management; international marketing; introduction to accounting and finance; contemporary issues in international management.
Assessment methods include management reports, essays, web- based discussions, reflections on practice and group work with presentations.
