International Management and Leadership with Hospitality
This course focuses on best practice in management, leadership and hospitality while developing an international focus; by designing, leading and reflecting upon a project attached to a community, charity or third sector enterprise, students' management and leadership skills are developed within a hospitality setting.
A good Honours degree or equivalent in any discipline; appropriate work experience; applicants whose Honours degree have not been studied in English, require an IELTS score of 6.0.
Modules may include: Inspirational leadership in hospitality; organisational behaviour; global issues and challenges for hospitality managers; international marketing; introduction to accounting and finance; contemporary issues in international management; strategy; project.
Assessment methods include management reports,essays, web based discussions, reflections on practice, live case studies and group work with presentations.
