This course provides an in-depth, critical understanding of the relationship between clinical assessment and the evaluation of therapeutic interventions; students re-examine their practical skills, professional knowledge and understanding of physiotherapy interventions; the development of critical and evaluative skills aims to advance students' future clinical, academic and/or research career; the knowledge and skills developed over the programme are intended to enable students to lead and implement innovative change within physiotherapy workplaces in the UK and internationally.
BSc in physiotherapy or equivalent averaging 60 percent; candidates should normally have at least 1 year of full-time post-graduate clinical experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English must have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no element below 6.0.
Learning methodologies; global perspectives on enhancing clinical practice; clinical measurement science; physical activity and health promotion: clinical applications; research methods; dissertation (MSc only).
Performance is assessed by coursework.
