This programme provides students with the opportunity to develop advanced research and analysis skills while also enabling them to apply these skills in producing research related outputs (such as a research publication potentially submissible for peer-review, a research protocol for a funding application, client reports). This award may be the first step towards an academic research career. The applied and real-world focus is also designed to make the award especially relevant for students who seek to pursue research further in organisational, client-focused or similar settings.
A 1st Class or 2.1 Honours degree in a relevant subject that includes a preliminary training in research methods, or equivalent. Where an Honours degree has not been studied in English, students are be required to take an IELTS test receiving an overall score of 6.5 and no individual component score below 6.0.
