The programme is to provide a thorough training in the main concepts and methods of translational medicine, with a particular focus on unmet needs in diseases of the nervous system and the challenge of developing better therapies; at the end of their studies students have a detailed knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, and of clinical trial design and methodology and the regulatory environment.
