Theatre and Performance
The programme will offer you a range of potential career outcomes; you will be given a solid grounding for further study in theatre and performance, while you will also have the opportunity to undertake work placements in the cultural industries; allow you to develop both theoretical and practical projects to advance your own research or career agendas.
An upper 2nd class Honours degree in English or such related fields as history, cultural studies and media studies. Where a North American marking scheme is used, applicants should have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2. Applicants without formal qualifications can be considered on an individual basis.
Modules include: Contemporary theatre and performance; dissertation preparation; performance research. Optional modules: theatre and performance theory; performance lab; cultural industries; early modern drama in performance; independent practical project; independent written project.
Assessment methods include essays, practical projects and dissertation.
