For PhD degrees candidates should have a 2.1 degree as a minimum and it is recommended a taught Masters degree; whilst this is not a formal requirement students in receipt of a good Masters degree may in some cases be ranked higher for funding than students with only an undergraduate degree; please note that there are different requirements between entrance requirements and requirements for funding, which are assessed separately; there may be a specific requirement (e.g. language skills; driving license; willingness to travel) associated with particular projects these are clearly identified where necessary. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each individual component (or equivalent qualification).
Research themes include: Entrepreneurship and innovation; venture finance; workplace change and organisation development; supply chain management; consumer research; sustainability and management/corporate social responsibility.
