Luxury Brand Management

This programme equips students to manage leading brands in a highly competitive environment, combining knowledge with an innovative approach and a strong cultural perspective.

Entry requirements

We require a minimum of a lower second class (2.2) UK Honours undergraduate degree; other equivalent international qualifications as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre will be accepted; applications are welcomed from candidates who do not meet the essential entry criteria outlined above providing that they hold a minimum of 2 years' managerial work experience and complete a 1000-word personal statement outlining the reasons for applying, and how previous experience is of relevance to the specific programme; an interview with the postgraduate admissions panel may also be necessary. For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require proof of your English proficiency.

Course modules

Core modules include: developing luxury brands; historical and cultural perspectives on luxury; leading and managing the luxury business; promoting luxury brands; recruiting and training talent; research methods; understanding the luxury client; dissertation/ consultancy project. Optional modules include: advanced management accounting for decision makers; contemporary issues in luxury; intellectual property law; product design management.
