Luxury Brand Management
This programme equips students to manage leading brands in a highly competitive environment, combining knowledge with an innovative approach and a strong cultural perspective.
A minimum of a lower 2nd Class Honours degree; other equivalent international qualifications as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre will be accepted; applications are welcomed from candidates who do not meet the essential entry criteria outlined above providing that they hold a minimum of 2 years' managerial work experience and complete a 1000-word personal statement outlining the reasons for applying, and how previous experience is of relevance to the specific programme; an interview with the postgraduate admissions panel may also be necessary; fluency in English is required.
Core modules include: developing luxury brands; historical and cultural perspectives on luxury; leading and managing the luxury business; promoting luxury brands; recruiting and training talent; research methods; understanding the luxury client; dissertation/ consultancy project. Optional modules include: advanced management accounting for decision makers; contemporary issues in luxury; intellectual property law; product design management.
