Entry requirements

Applicants should have a good Honours degree in engineering or closely related discipline and at least 2 years practical industrial experience relevant to production engineering. Exceptionally, candidates who have a relevant HND level qualification together with extensive production engineering experience may, at the University's discretion, be considered. Students from Nigeria should have a 2.1 or above in Engineering or a related discipline. All students for whom English is not their 1st language must provide evidence of their English language skills by gaining Academic IELTS with 6.5 overall and a minimum of 5.5 in each element or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: subsurface; wells; facilities; business essentials; production system modelling; production operations; well completions and subsea systems; petroleum economics and asset management.
