Covering aspects of national real estate markets, this MSc provides you with the ability to evaluate real estate markets. This course will help to prepare for your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree at upper 2nd level. Mature candidates with significant relevant work experience and lower academic qualifications may also be considered for entry, following interview with the course manager. IELTS: For students whose 1st language is not English, the university will accept International English Language Test (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 average with no element below 5.5. Students with other qualifications, including overseas awards and alternative English language qualifications, are advised to contact admissions to discuss the suitability of their award.

Course modules

You will engage with 4 case studies delivered in an interactive workshop format, followed by a research project based on a subject area of your choice.

Assessment methods

Assessment of each case study will be based on a written report and an oral examination. There are no unseen written examinations.
