International Real Estate
This programme provides a route to full professional status for those seeking a career in real estate anywhere in the world for both local and international practice; it is therefore relevant to all students from around the world who seek a real estate qualification with a view to future practice in their home country or internationally.
Applicants normally require an Honours degree (minimum 2.1). Mature candidates with significant relevant work experience and lower academic qualifications may also be considered for entry, following interview with the course manager. For students whose 1st language is not English, the University will accept International English Language Test (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 average with no element below 5.5. Students with other qualifications, including overseas awards and alternative English language qualifications, are advised to contact Admissions to discuss the suitability of their award.
Modules include: Valuation and development; land and property management; investment and development; international real estate market analysis; dissertation.
Assessment is by written reports, oral examinations and a written dissertation.
