Royal Veterinary College, University of London
The Associate in Science Education programme is designed to facilitate the development of staff who undertake a relatively small range of teaching and learning support activity. This programme is ideal for early career researchers with some teaching responsibilities, PhD students, staff new to teaching with part-time academic responsibilities, staff who support academic provision such as learning technologists, learning developers, library staff and staff who have a demonstrator or laboratory technician role. On successful completion of the first part of the programme, graduates automatically become an Associate of the Higher Education Academy (AHEA). The Fellowship comprises two separate qualifications depending on your previous experience and career aspirations.
No prior qualification is needed but the course is targeted at those who undertake a relatively small range of teaching and learning responsibilities, for example, PhD students, learning technologists, learning developers, library staff and laboratory technicians.
